The fall market’s hitting its stride — but it’s a more measured pace than September’s quick start.
We’re seeing strong, qualified buyers out there, but they’re also cautious and analytical. Homes that are move-in ready and priced with precision are still commanding attention (and offers), while those that miss the mark are seeing slower showings.
For sellers, patience and presentation are the name of the game. The buyers touring homes right now are serious — they’ve got their financing lined up and they know what they want — but they’re not rushing.
For buyers, opportunities are opening up as competition levels out and sellers get realistic. Negotiation is back on the table, and timing your move before the next rate announcement could work in your favour.
